Tattoo of a Naked Lady

Tattoo of a Naked Lady - B.D. Kwiatek I should have known what I was in for when I saw the author's name. This is supposedly by "Randy Everhard" as told to Kwiatek. But - I fell for the back cover description, which made this sound like a Spillane-esque noir novel. Nothing could be further from the truth. This is just a print version of the soft-core porn HBO shows late at night. Here's the review I posted on Mini Book Expo (the folks who sent me the book): Don't read this book if you're easily offended. Don't read this book if you're looking for a hard-boiled detective story. Don't read this book if you're looking for good erotica. Don't read this book if you're looking for good soft core porn. Just don't read this book. It really isn't worth your time. The blurb on the back of the book makes it sound like it may be an off-beat, hard-boiled detective novel. The excerpt makes it sound like an off-beat, slightly off-color road trip novel. In actuality, it is none of these things. It's not titillating enough to be erotica and it's not dirty enough to be porn. It's just boring. Seriously, don't read this book.
